North Nampa Residents Association

The North Nampa Residents Association was created to help residents network and
work towards keeping North Nampa a great place to live.
The process includes working with community leaders, police, public organizations,
and residents to revitalize North Nampa.
- Served as President from Jul 2000 to 2005, when we disbanded.
- Represented Nampa as a delegate for All-American City competition in
Atlanta Georgia, June 2001.

Nampa Neighborhood Housing Services

The Nampa Neighborhood Housing Services was created by the North Nampa
Urban Renewal District to assist in rehabilitation of North Nampa, and to
work towards keeping North Nampa a great place to live.
The organization typically had a budget over $2,000,000.00, including
several accounts of Restricted Funding from Federal, State and Local
Government agencies.
- Represented Nampa as a delegate for All-American City competition in
Atlanta Georgia, June 2001.
- Served as Community Vice President from Jan 2001 to completion in Jan 2004.
- Served as Web Master from Dec 1999 to to completion in Jan 2004.
- Served as Board Member from Apr 1999 to Jan 2001.
Nampa Chamber of Commerce

The Nampa Chamber of Commerce is a group of businesses who are some of the
best people you could hope to meet. We work together for the betterment
of our community.
This fun run was started to benefit Northwest Children's Home and Syringa House.
It includes a 5k and 1 mile run or walk. The 1 mile race is designed for kids.
The parents are encouraged to run with their kids, but they can watch from the
middle of the park.
Everybody has a good time with their kids. There are healthy snacks and
activities for everyone. The kids from Northwest Children's Home and Syringa
House learn more about community service (and enjoy it). It is also a way for
both homes to thank the Nampa community for all the great support they receive
throughout the year.
The last couple of years have included a steak feed provided by Outback
Steakhouse as a fund raising activity for the race. Mmmm good!
